Raddery Shawl
Raddery is a light and airy shawl, using double yarn overs to create space and structure in both the body and border.
Worked from a single stitch, the assymetric construction is highly adaptable. It’s simple to work additional repeats of the body or the border charts to use up every last scrap of the beautiful Killen Sock from Black Isle Yarns.
Yarn
400m of the main colour and 80m for each of two contrast colours. It is recommended that you chose a 4-ply yarn with good stitch definition, and that will block well.
Sample is made using:
Black Isle Yarns Killen Sock; 80% Bluefaced Leicester, 20% Mohair; 400 m / 438 yds per 100g skein or 80 m / 90 yds per 20g mini-skein.
