Rain
“Rain” is a knitted shawl which has a ruffled edge, a basic lace pattern and it is created in two pieces to create a V-shaped back.
Two skeins of Laurel were used. Any worsted weight yarn will be a good substitution. Maybe go up a needle size or two in order to create a wider shawl with greater drape (especially if a wool based yarn).
The directions have you start with the ruffle then it grows into the simple lace pattern. One rectangle is made shorter than the other to help generate a slightly asymmetric look to the end result.
Happy Spring 2014!
