These cheerful socks are just the ticket for using up the small amounts of special, bright yarn that’s been hanging out in your stash (or a favorite pack of mini-skeins!). They are a labor of love, but totally worth it. They’re sure to be a favorite for years to come!

Rainbow Socks are worked in the rnd from the top down. Ribbing is worked at the cuff, followed by a series of stripes (weaving in ends as you go). Waste yarn is added for an afterthought heel. The heel and toe are both worked in the same way (decreasing at either side while working stripes at the same time). The toe and heel are closed with grafting and remaining ends are woven in.

To save time later, weave in ends as you go throughout all the striped sections.
