A spring-fed stream, northeast orientation, and high canyon walls provide Ramsey Canyon with a moist, cool environment unusual in the desert Southwest. Lovely place for a Fall afternoon walk. Feels like New England!

For the cowl I chose to have yarns with a cashmere blend - pure luxury. The Ramsey Canyon Cowl uses less than 200 yards of DK weight yarn. The pattern stitch is both written and charted. It features a combination of right and left twist stitches on a stockinette stitch background, bordered with seed stitch.

The cowl is knitted top down and seamed at the back neck. Instructions are written using M1R and M1L. If you prefer, you may replace these increases with a backward loop cast on stitch. A circular needle is suggested to accommodate the growing number of stitches.
