Moss stitch adds texture to a classic sweater silhouette. Why name a teal sweater “Red Moss”? Two important wetlands sites in the United Kingdom carry this name because both bogs produce large amounts of peat moss.

Yarn Halcyon Yarn Botanica (100% wool): #0330, 6 (6, 7, 8, 9, 10) skeins.
Needles Size 6 (4 mm): 16” circular. Size 8 (5 mm): straight. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Marker; stitch holders; tapestry needle.
Gauge 15 sts and 22 rows = 4” in St st on larger needles; 15 sts and 22 rows in Double Moss st on larger needles.
Notes This pullover is worked back and forth in separate pieces and seamed.
