Pattern Notes
Do you have lots of fingering weight scraps leftover and can’t bear to throw them out? Small bits that just aren’t enough for a full project? This is the perfect project to use up all those odds and ends. And the best part? This shawl is modular requiring very little seaming and very few ends to weave in! Most ends can be crocheted over as you go. A photo tutorial is provided for the modular bits and the motifs - this is a separate PDF file included with your purchase. Just to reiterate – you do not need to weave in most of the ends!

Color Notes
I chose to go two totally different routes in the color department. The smaller version uses All The Colors with white as the main double crochet portions. I didn’t plan much of anything, but tried to make sure that colors contrasted with the other colors next to it.

In the larger version, I picked out all the gray, brown, and purple scraps from my stash. I made
the center/round 1 portion in purple, round 2 in a lighter neutral, and round 3 in a darker neutral. Then, I used a totally separate solid color (teal) for all the joining. I then used the darker neutrals mixed with 2 tweedy navy skeins for the double crochet portions.

There are loads of ways to customize this piece to make it your own!

Construction Notes
First, two v-shaped pieces are made up of join as you go motifs. Then, the three double crochet sections are added. There is no seaming in this project - it’s entirely modular.
