Resolution Keeper
Did you know that half of all resolutions are broken as soon as the end of January? We here at Really Clear have experienced this personally and are on a mission to solve the problem!
What if we all had a bit of motivation to keep the resolutions--to form them into solid habits?
Enter the Resolution Keeper shawl.
Here’s how it works: Before New Year’s, you make your resolutions (for your own sanity, no more than three, please). Then you buy a background yarn, which is your built-in resolution to “knit.” And you buy three other colors that go with it. Each color represents one of your resolutions. Our sample is made from Noro Sonata, but any yarn you love will work!
Each day, when you do one of the resolutions, you can knit that section. (As the sections get longer, just knit a row or two so you don’t get overloaded.) Don’t work on more than one section a day. The idea is to work at a small, steady pace so that you can build the habits and keep the resolutions.
I’m releasing the supply list right now. I’ll release the instructions in the morning of January 1. Please join us at Fans of Really Clear on Ravelry, or on Facebook at Really Clear Designs: Show Your Work! to share what your resolutions are, and to show the progress of your shawl!
