Reversible Mobius Cowl
Cables that look good on both sides adorn a cozy cowl. Wear it draped long for drama or double up for warmth.
KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
Width 8”/20.5cm
Length 38”/96.5cm
Who says cables can’t look good on both sides?
This infinity scarf takes advantage of a completely reversible fabric that looks identical on both sides with a 180 degree twist to form a mobius loop.
Ribbing with cable crosses forms a plaited and sculptural edge, with double moss stitch framing a central panel of almost woven effect cables. A vibrant shade highlights the cosy, squishy textures.
Errata: unfortunately it has come to my attention (thanks to an eagle eyed knitter) that the version of the pattern in the book contains some errors. These errors have been introduced during the editing process over which I have no control, however, if you are having problems with this pattern I am more than happy to help.
The errata are detailed below, if you require further assistance, please contact me by pm.
The errors are as follows:
Provisional cast on:
After the provisional cast on the Set-up row should be worked in waste yarn as follows:
K12, place marker, k4, place marker, k16, place marker, k4, place marker, k12.
This positions the markers to correspond with the red lines on the chart. If you do not work this row in waste yarn it will introduce an extra row.
Change to the main yarn and begin working from the chart as instructed.
Abbreviations:
The following abbreviations are incorrect and should read as follows:
4-st RPC: Slip next 2 sts to cable needle and hold at the back of the work, k2 sts from left hand needle, p2 from cable needle.
4-st LPC: Slip next 2 sts to cable needle and hold at the front of the work, p2 sts from left hand needle, k2 from cable needle.
Chart:
There is a mistake on row 7 of the chart. The first cable in the central cable panel is crossed in the wrong direction. Instead of a 4-st RC it should be a 4-st LC.
If you would like a correct version of the chart please pm me with your email and I will be happy to send it to you in a PDF file.
