This 2x2 ribbed cowl is started working flat and then joined in the round. This makes it easy to wear because the bottom falls over your shoulder nicely when tucking into a coat, but the part around your neck is seamless and cozy.

My cowl is 11 inches/28 cm long and 25 inches/63.5 cm around, but you can easily adjust to fit (just need a multiple of 4 stitches for the pattern).
