36 interesting beads for the fringe, plus 150 size 8/0 beads

A feminine slouchy with a dramatic beaded lace start.

This sample uses small Leaf shaped glass beads that are pre-strung and are worked into the fringe but any fancy bead would work equally well for the fringe. For example – size 5/0 triangular beads or size 6.0 round beads are good options. Teardrop crystals would be beautiful as well. The beads in the body of the hat are placed with a crochet hook as the cap is knit.

The pattern is offered in one size but the lace start is very stretchy and adapts well to most average head sizes. Further sizing could be obtained with changing needle sizing.
