Road-Trip Cowl
This is a perfect road-trip project: knit in the round so you don’t have needles sticking into seat-mates; quick and easy knit withjust knits/purls and increases and decreases on a repetitive basis so you don’t get too bored; and all done once you BO! I worked this up on a car-date home from the NC Mountains with dh driving and me knitting right along.
This cowl is worked completely in the round, from the top down. After the initial garter edging on the hood, you’ll begin knit and purl “welts” while decreasing down to the neck. The welts allow the cowl to drape nicely around the neck when you don’t need the “hood” up.
From the ribbed neck, you will increase every other round (at the four corners) to increase for the shoulders. BO and you are done!
This took about 5 yards less than the full skein of Jarbo Garn Duo.
