Rosa Mitten
January 2017: Ihave always loved this design, but as I learned more about making mittens and what knitters want in a mitten pattern, I knew this one needed an update. So, updated design, new yarn (O-wool, lovely!) enjoy!
It’s colder. Leaves have fallen and the trees are bare. What better way to combat “winter is coming” fatigue than a brightly colored pair of mittens decorated with big, beautiful flowers? Roses are lush, proud, aromatic flowers. These mittens combine elements of traditional Norwegian styling with a longer cuff and an eyelet border (with a bow!) between cuff and hand for something different. Miss Babs Yummy or Elemental Affects yarns provide a nice punch of color. Pick your own colors to make the winter blahs flee.
