A fun, quick and easy cosy for your French Press Coffee maker. It is inspired by the Round Tower in Copenhagen. The Round Tower is the church tower of the Trinity Church (Trinitatis Kirke), but is probably best known as one of the famous landmarks of Midieval Copenhagen, build by Christian IV in the 17th hundred as an astronomical observatory. The tower is accessible by wheels, as it has a helical corridor leading to the top. Read more about the tower on http://www.rundetaarn.dk/en/

The cosy is knit flat in one piece in a simple but interesting cable pattern. Buttons are sewn in at the back, and button holes are added by making a simple crochet edge. It requires about half a skein of worsted weight yarn and three buttons.

Finished measurements:
Height 18 cm / 7.25 inches
