These socks were inspired by my Ruska Sweater, the colorwork on the yoke. I thought that would look fun on socks as well. I imagine wearing these socks along with my Ruska sweater on hikes in the nearby forest, or just while knitting away at home on the couch.

This is also a perfect pattern if you have two skeins of sock yarn (approx. 425m/100g) to use up. You get the smaller size socks and the larger size from the same skeins by switching contrast colors with not much leftovers. Just awesome if you want to make something for yourself, a special someone, or maybe your bestie.

I find that these socks are also perfect for any scrap yarn projects. The motifs are small, you can change the color of each on as well as the background color.
