Rustic Lace Necklace
This linen necklace takes only a few grams of spun flax which makes it a terrific little project for small amounts of handspun.
Less than 0.35 ounce / 10 grams of flax spun into fingering weight yarn will be enough to make this necklace.
Size: One
Finished measurement: 1 inch / 2.5 cm wide by 17 inches / 43 cm long
Materials
18–20 yards / 16.5–18.5 meters handspun flax
(2-ply, approximately 18 WPI, fingering weight)
1 set of US 0 (1.25mm) sharp DPNs, or US 1(2.25mm) for a slightly more open lace
38 size 7/0 Czech seed beads (#7)
2 size 6/0 bead (#6)
1 accent bead for the front middle bead
One 3 Strand Slide Lock Clasp (21 x 6mm tube)
1 dental floss threader
Tapestry needle
