Sadie's Shrug
Novelty yarns create striking effects and this easy-to-knit shrug takes full advantage. Shaping and an eyelet pattern keep things simple as novelty yarns often have longer fibers or other do-dads that will catch on a needle. The sample is knitted in a multi-textured yarn with a gradient. Part of the fun is playing around with the effects from different kids of yarn: tapes or handpaints, although I’d wager a solid yarn would look terrific too.
