This cowl is designed for beginning knitters to practice working knits and purls and reading instructions. It progresses from basic garter to stockinette to more complex textures.

Approximately 110 yards are necessary to make a cowl 28” around, but the pattern can be repeated to make a longer cowl or scarf or repeats eliminated to use less yarn.
