Sand Stitch Baby Blanket
This single skein project uses almost the whole ball of yarn. Without the border it came out the 35 inches square. I used two rounds of single crochet (worked with a size 7 US/4.5 mm hook) as my border but you could also do applied I-cord or something else but you would probably need more yarn.
Sand stitch is an easy knit-purl pattern that looks great on both sides and uses a four row repeat. Great for beginners!
