Sandtracks Bag
The Sandtracks Bag is a pattern out of the third book from the Guy with the Hook; Memory. It is inspired by the wind patterns in the sands of the Sahara.
Hook size needed: 4.0mm (G) hook.
Yarn needed: Scheepjes Cahlista is used for this bag. Scheepjes Cahlista comes in balls of 50 grams with a length of 85 meters. The yarn consists of 100% double-gassed cotton. I used seven balls of colorway 248 Champagne to create this bag.
Other materials needed: I used some hook and loop tape on the inside of the top hem of the bag. This closes the bag pretty tight and is very friendly in use. You could also sew some buttons on it or use a zipper.
I also used a belt with clips that can be easily added to the sides of the bag. Finally, I used a belt from the Danish brand MUUD. Any belt will do – maybe you have one from an old bag, or you can make one from some waste yarn.
Size of project: The finished size of the bag without the belt will be 16 inches in height and 12 inches in width.
The pattern contains written instructions guided by a chart. It is available in English (US terms) and Dutch. After purchase, you can download a PDF file in your preferred language.
You can also get the e-book with all 10 patterns in it if you prefer this option. It has a discount of at least 30% off in compensation for buying all patterns individually. You can find it here.
