This hat is designed for warmth. It uses a dense, woven stitch and features textured earflaps made with a puff stitch.

SMALL: 18.5” in circumference
MEDIUM: 20.9” in circumference
LARGE: 22.2” in circumference
X-LARGE: 23.4” in circumference
For best fit, choose a hat size 2-3” smaller than head circumference.

HOOK
4mm crochet hook (or hook size that achieves correct gauge).

YARN
Approximately 350-430 yards of DK weight yarn or fingering held with kidsilk lace (the sample photos utilize fingering held with kidsilk lace).

GAUGE
13 stitches & 16 rows per 4” in modified half double crochet.
