Scupi
This shawl was named after the town of Skopje, once called Scupi, the capital of North Macedonia, where history meets contemporary architecture, culture, and great food.
The shawl is an asymmetrical triangle, with a lace pattern all over and with garter stitch ribbing incorporated into the pattern.
Pattern includes written and chart instructions.
Sizes & measurements
Wingspan: 185 cm (74”)
Central depth: 83 cm (33.5”)
Materials
DK weight yarn 50 g (1.76 oz) = 125 m (137 yd), 100% Merino wool
295 g; 10.5 oz; (738 m; 810 yd), 6 skeins
Needles: 4 mm (US 6) or the size needed to meet the gauge
Scissors, a tapestry needle, and a row counter are recommended
For the model in the photo Superwool, Mondial was used in red color (no. 0563).
