Sea Haven Mitts are a set of unisex textured fingerless or full mittens using stitches from the Sea Haven Sweater.

They are worked bottom-up in the round and are available in three sizes - small, medium and large. Whilst the small and medium fit most adult ladies, the large size will accommodate larger female hands and most adult males.

These mitts are fun and quick to knit up. They are packed with fun techniques including Tubular cast-on and bind off. For the full-length mitten, a garter Kitchener grafting gives a cozy neat mitten finish.

19 sts x 28 rnds = 10cm x 10cm (4”x 4”) in stocking stitch worked in the round after blocking on larger needle. Tip: Block and pin swatch, and leave to dry.

CONSTRUCTION NOTES:
Both the Fingerless Mitts and Full-length mittens are cast on using the same set of instructions which start on page 4, working a Tubular cast on and then the half-twisted rib cuff.

A pair of mitts can be worked with the Pennants and Chevrons going in the same direction or, with the Pennants and Chevrons going in the opposite direction.

If you choose to have the Pennant and Chevrons going in the same direction for both hands, work the instructions for MITT 1 twice.
Otherwise work the instructions for MITT 1 and then MITT 2, for opposite direction.
