Shaded Garden Shawl
Inspired by shaded plants who are efficient energy users, not in competition with other plants for the sun and adapt to make more use of soil nutrients, this is a color block shawl with rolled selvage edges. 3 colors are joined together every row using basic intarsia techniques. 2 rows of crochet slip stitch edging are added to the cast on + bind off edges for a decorative finish and to stop the stockinette stitch from curling.
There is a mini video tutorial in the pattern showing you how to do the color block intarsia knitting and the crochet slip stitch edging.
This is a simple, wearable scarf you can dress up with a fancy coat or dress down for a casual day out.
