The Simple Cable Sock Beanie takes the Aran weight Simple Cable Beanie, and adapts it for sock-weight yarn, adding additional sizes.

This simple cable beanie is knit in the round, on one size of needles. It would be suitable as a first cable project, given that the cabling pattern is not overly complicated.

The hat comes in 7 sizes, and instructions are given on adjusting the length to create a longer hat if required. The ribbing creates a stretchy, comfortable hat, ideal for present giving when it can be difficult to get measurements!

The pattern is ideal for using up partial skeins of sock-weight yarn, since the yardage is low for the smaller sizes.
