I love the simplicity of this hat, the only stitches you need to know are the single crochet, slip stitch, and the chain.

The pattern instructions offer 3 different sizes as well as three different flower motifs that can be crocheted and stitched on at the end.

For this pattern I used:
Bernat Roving Chunky Weight acrylic/wool blend yarn (3.5oz/100g_120yds/109m per ball) - colors #100/Rice Paper, #044/Dark Grey, #071/Plum

A stitch marker is also needed as the hat is worked in continuous rounds.
