Dolman sleeve sweater worked from right sleeve to the left, and then picking up and knitting the edges. Optional detached collar is a bit tricky but adds drama to the sweater.
Level of Difficulty: Intermediate
Sizes: S (M) L (XL)
Measurements:
The pattern makes the measurements very flexible.
Chest below stitches for the sleeve 31.5 (37.75) 44 (50.5) in / 80 (96) 112 (128) cm ; however, the top-most stripe on the sleeve lies at mid-breast height and adds another 3.25 in / 8 cm to chest circumference.
Length from shoulder to beginning of ribbing 17.25 (17.25) 19.25 (19.25) in / 44 (44) 49 (49) cm, but you must take into consideration an additional .75 in / 2 cm because the knitting hangs in the “wrong” direction. You can determine the complete length by working the ribbing to length desired. The length of the garment shown (Size M) is 21.25 in / 54 cm.
Span, from cast-on to bind-off: 44 (47.25) 50.5 (53.5) in / 112 (120) 128 (136) cm + 6.25 in / 16 cm for the cuffs. You can adjust the total span by making the ribbing at the wrists as long as desired.
