SKAGEN SWEATER

Skagen Sweater is an airy, soft, stylish and comfortable sweater knitted sideways. The sweater has ¾ length sleeves with decorative glitter edges and wide neckline. It’s a relatively easy knit.

SIZES
The sweater comes in 7 different sizes to fit all body types and sizes. The sizes jump quite a bit and ranges from body width with (multiply with 2):

XS - 45 cm
S - 52 cm
M - 60 cm
L - 67 cm
XL - 70 cm
2XL - 75 cm
3XL - 78 cm

YARNS
I have used 1 ply kid mohair and brushed lace both from Mohair by Canard and Paia from Filcolana to give the sleeves a slight glittery look. Depending on your size you will need:

100-250 g of 1 ply
100-250 g brushed lace
25 g paia

Note, you can easily exchange any of the yarn bases with bases with similar length/weight.

GAUGE
Knitting gauge is 28 rows / 16 sts for 10x10 cm. I have used 5 mm circular needles for the entire body and 4 mm to make the i-cord on the neckline.
