Skiftie
In Scots, skiftie refers to a light shower or drift of snow, while to skift is to move about with a quick, light step. You’ll surely step lightly through the snow in your Skiftie!

Kate Davies Designs Schiehallion (100% British Wool; 110m / 120yds per 50g skein) and Kate Davies Designs Ooskit (100% British Wool; 220m / 240yds per 100g skein)
A Faded Overalls: 6 (7, 8, 9, 10, 10, 11, 12, 13) x 50g skeins

B Riach: 3 (3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 5, 5) x 100g skeins

C Rhubarb 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1) x 50g skein

Check sizing table for garment dimensions. Yarn quantities are calculated for the body and sleeve lengths given in the sizing table. If you wish to add length to body and / or sleeves, you may need an extra skein of shades A and B.

Gauge
22 sts and 30 rounds to 10cm / 4in over stranded colourwork in the round using gauge-size needle. If your gauge tends to tighten when working small circumferences or colourwork, you may need to go up a needle size for sleeves. Use 4mm needle as a starting point for swatching.

Pattern notes
This circular yoke pullover is knitted from the bottom up, all in one piece, with allover stranded colourwork, following a simple 4 stitch repeat. The body is made first, followed by the sleeves, before they are joined together. After a short section of raglan shaping worked in the allover pattern, the circular yoke is worked from a chart, followed by the neck rib. All charts are read from right to left throughout.
