skirt is knitted top-down, which gives you opportunity to adjust the length to your taste. If you want a bigger or smaller size than stated that is possible too, by adding or subtracting a number of stitches dividable by 15, which changes the waist by 5 cm. The rest of the pattern is the same, and needs no further math, just remember to add or subtract yarn.

The sample is knit in a DK weight cotton yarn, but can equally be knit in a cotton or wool blend.
