NORTH SEA is a collection inspired by the traditional fisherman knit and is a celebration of nautical cables and Celtic twists, complimented by Nordic inspired Fair Isle. Photographed on Unst, the most northerly of the Shetland Islands…a perfect location to experience the wildness of where the North Sea meets the North Atlantic Ocean.

SKYE is a lovely yoke design is entirely knitted in the round. It has a simple two colour Fair Isle yoke but the body is a complex twisted stitch pattern to ensure you won’t get bored knitting it!

It’s another Rowan Felted Tweed design using Clay as the main colour and Maritime as the pattern colour. It’s quite a short garment in length as I prefer my designs to be just below the waist in length. If you want to make it longer then just knit an extra repeat of the twisted stitch section in the body.

We photographed SKYE on Norwick beach along with BUTE but at the rocky end of the bay.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PDF PATTERN IS CORRECT AND THE ERRATA MENTIONED IS INCLUDED.
