This is a beginner level (easy) amigurumi pattern to create two small sea turtles. Or however many you would like to make! They are approx. 4 inches long, however if you size up or down on your hook and yarn it will make the turtles bigger or smaller respectively.

This pattern is designed to be simple enough for beginners to work on it without frustration and fun enough for even experienced crocheters to enjoy working on.

There are only a few pieces to make using sc in back loop only and working in the round. Followed with some simple sewing techniques to connect everything together.

There is a photo tutorial to assist with assembly.

To make these turtles you can use any worsted weight/aran yarn. I used Lion Brand’s Vanna’s Choice. It took a little under 40 yards to make one sea turtle. You would also need a size F (3.75mm) hook, fiber fill, 9mm plastic safety eyes, a tapestry needle and split stitch markers.

I hope you enjoy these little turtles! Enjoy!
