“Snowdrop Sweater” is inspired by the magical transition from winter to spring.
I invite you to immerse yourself in the beauty of this design as you create it from the top down, working in the round. You’ll find a delightful circle adorned with bobbles (Estonian nupps) on the yoke.
Choose to make them in another color to add a touch of whimsy to this enchanting garment. The body of the sweater features a relaxed and comfortable fit with fitted or flowy sleeves, perfect for embracing that cozy yet airy feeling of the changing seasons.

The sweater is constructed from the top down, with a yoke featuring a fun bobble motif using Estonian nupps (charts and written instructions included). You can knit the nupps in a contrasting color and choose where to put the motif: near the neck, as a necklace, or lower, on the shoulders. There are directions for three necks (scoop, crew, and turtleneck), two sleeves (bishop/fitted), and two lengths (cropped/full). Short rows are worked back and forth to raise the back
neckline for a better fit.

All of my garment patterns are #sizeinclusive up to at least a 60” full bust circumference.

Finished chest circumference: (30.75, 36.75, 40) 42.75, 49, 52.5 {55.5, 61.5, 64.5}” / (77, 92, 100) 107, 123, 131 {138.5, 154, 161.5} cm - 2-4” (5-10cm) of positive ease.The samples pictured are knitted in size M on a 36” bust.
One sweater has a crew neck, motif in MC on the shoulder, bishop sleeves, and full length. The other sweater has a turtleneck, motif in CC as a necklace, fitted sleeves, and full length.

Yarn Weight 3: DK, light worsted.
The samples were made using:
1 color: Ice Yarns Wool Cord Light in the colorway ‘dust ink’.
2 colors: Friends Cotton Silk in Beige and Baby Pink
