Yarn: I used Mineville wool project DK merino, which is made local to me. I used 140 yards of navy and 132 yards of blue, but you may need a little more or less, depending on your gauge and yarn.

Inspiration: I wanted to make something special for my friend who is like a second mother to me. I asked her daughter what kind of animal her mother likes. She said, actually, she likes snowmen.

I assumed that there would be many many patterns already out there with snowmen on them, but when I searched for one that would work, I didn’t find exactly what I was looking for, so I made these, with the parent and child snowmen.
