This unique hat offers a double dose of warmth and color! Knit in two pieces, the Snowpack Hat tops solid stockinette with a layer of lace.

The stockinette beanie is worked first in the contrasting color, and then the lacy layer is worked separately in the main color. The two layers are then joined from their provisional cast-ons and a thin brim is knit down.
