Thursday Social Hours at Yarn Social in Kansas City are the highlight of my week. This shawl is named in honor of the many delightful hours spent there. The Yarn Socialite color way was a limited edition color created just for Yarn Social by Primrose Yarn Co. This shawl is a simple top down triangle shawl that would be simple enough to knit while you are chatting away at your local crafting circle.

Yarn: Primrose Yarn Co. Jasper (100% Superwash Merino, 100 g, 247 yds / 225 m) 2 skeins in Yarn Socialite Recommended

Needles: US size 7 (4.5 mm) 40” circular needle, four US size 7 (4.5 mm) DPNs

Notions: waste yarn, crochet hook, tapestry needle, 5 stitch markers

Finished size: 43.25 wingspan and 21.5 inches in from the center of the neck to the point (This shawl is made larger or smaller by increasing or decreasing the number of rows worked before the chart.)

Gauge: 18 stitches and 30 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch pattern. (Gauge is not critical for this project but will affect yardage.)
