These Sock Monkey Butt Pants are sure to delight.

I had made some Monster Butt Pants and when I saw the Monkey Brown I Love This Cotton I got to thinking that some Sock Monkey Butt Pants would be cute too, so I decided to design them.

Medium(4) weight yarn.
Main Color A 4 oz. I Love This Cotton – Monkey Brown
Color B 2 oz. I Love This Cotton – Antique Cream or Ivory
Color C 3 oz. I Love This Cotton - Red
For toddler size:
Black very small amount for eyes.
2 - 3/8” black buttons for nostrils.
For newborn:
2 - 1/2” black buttons for eyes.

For main part of the pants. (Ribbing and eyes are made with one size smaller hook.)
4” square- 12 double crochets and 7 rows of dc.
May want a little smaller gauge for smaller sizes.

When made as written, measurements of pants is 18” waist, 23” hips, 11” inseam, 8” front rise, 9.5” rear rise, and 10” thigh.

Added instructions for Newborn size.
