Soft Shawl
This pattern is for a triangle shawl with large shells making the body. It includes a diagram of the pattern with minimal wordage to support the chart.
The shawl is worked in one piece and has a border.
Special stitches are defined.
The yarn called for is Phildar Sweety, 6 balls. The yardage is about 234 yards per ball.
Note: The diagram is clear, but the largest portion of the shawl (the shell triangle) is only shown to a width of 7 shells. The pattern calls for 43 shells. Care should be taken to note that the border is a simple 9 rows, but again the diagram only shows it applied to 7 shells, not 43.
