Looking for some amazing yarn to knit this design? I adored using Miss Babs Killington, which is a blend of Polwarth wool and Tussah silk. I recommend choosing a solid or semi-solid to really let the cables shine!
The coordinating mittens will be released on February 11! Sign up for my newsletter to get the introductory discount!
“When the sun is shining I can do anything; no mountain is too high, no trouble too difficult to overcome.” — Wilma Rudolph
The power of the sun brings warmth and life to the earth, but it also has the ability to create joy and happiness. During the cold, dark days of winter, we may need to create our own Solar Power! This snug hat begins with the option for a thick and cozy doubled brim, then seamlessly transitions into patterns of left and right twists created with just a few easy steps– no cable needle required! The crown is completed with rays of cables, radiating outward to complete this sun-inspired winter accessory. Check out the matching mittens (coming 2/11) to complete the set!
