Looking for some amazing yarn to knit this design? I adored using Miss Babs Killington, which is a blend of Polwarth wool and Tussah silk. I recommend choosing a solid or semi-solid to really let the cables shine!

“When the sun is shining I can do anything; no mountain is too high, no trouble too difficult to overcome.” — Wilma Rudolph

The power of the sun brings warmth and life to the earth, but it also has the ability to create joy and happiness. During the cold, dark days of winter, we may need to create our own Solar Power! These cuff-to-fingertip mittens begin with the option for a thick and cozy doubled cuff, then seamlessly transition into patterns of left and right twists created with just a few easy steps– no cable needle required! For a matching set, check out the Solar Power Hat!

Intermediate; this pattern is a bit more involved than the coordinating hat. It includes a detailed tutorial video demonstrating all the skills needed to work the cast-on, join, and cable stitches. If you are a newer knitter, I recommend trying the hat first.
