PATTERN NOTES
Snail Shell is worked in the round in two pieces and crocheted together. Snail Body is made separately and sewn to the Shell. Join rounds with a slip stitch in first stitch when indicated.
When working in continuous rounds, place a marker to indicate beginning of round. Move marker up as each round is completed. Work tightly so that stuffing does not show between stitches.
When changing colors at the end of a round, finish the final pull-through of the last stitch of the round with the new color. Cut the old color and weave in the end.
