SPARKS is a colourwork yoke sweater with a relaxed yet elegant fit, knitted in one piece from the top down. It can be knitted in either a fluffy blend of fingering weight yarn combined with a suri silk alpaca (or mohair) or in a single held DK weight yarn. Starting point for this design was the yarn and especially the strikingly vibrant colours of the hand dyed PRU yarns. The catchy colours on different yarn bases immediately inspired the creation of a radiating deep colourwork yoke, like a big shiny collar around the neck, where the sparkle of the PRU yarns and enchanting colourwork shapes go hand in hand.

Designed to fit a bust range of 75-175 cm / 30-70”.

Sample 1 (neon oats, neon yellow, neon coral) is a size 7 worn with 35 cm positive ease.
Sample 2 (punch, pink, neon pink) is a size 6 worn with 35 cm positive ease.

GAUGE
23 sts x 32 rnds to 10 cm / 4” on 3.5 mm / US 4 or needle size to obtain gauge, in stockinette stitch, after blocking.

Please note that it is recommended to make a gauge swatch to ensure that you get the correct gauge with the needle size. Deviations in your gauge can lead to incorrect proportions of your SPARKS sweater.
