The listed price is the “true” value of the pattern that best reflects the time, investment, and creativity of this design. If needed, you can purchase the pattern at a price point within your budget by using one of the coupon codes below at checkout. The prices indicate the amount you will pay, not the discount amount. About the Pattern
Inspired by the sharp silhouettes of skyscrapers piercing the sky, Spire Shawl captures the rhythm of a cityscape in stitches. The colorwork motif rises and repeats like spires atop towers—intertwined, tessellated, and full of quiet momentum.
Between bands of architectural detail, long stretches of stockinette offer space to pause and reflect, or simply admire the view. Their lengths shift with your whim, like the changing pace of a city walk or the shadows cast by high-rise peaks.
With increases along one edge, the shawl expands into an asymmetrical triangle. Its simple construction allows you to customize the size to suit your style and your yarn stash. I chose to create a large, dramatic wrap, but it’s equally striking as a smaller shawl. The colorwork is straightforward and flexible: go bold with high-contrast tones, or let a gradient echo the glow of sunset on glass.
Spire Shawl is a tribute to upward motion, modern geometry, and the quiet beauty found between the lines.
