Spriggy is a DK-weight hat with cabled leaves circling the brim and a ribbed brim lining. This double brim is joined seamlessly as you knit; it provides extra warmth while ensuring that the brim edge is soft and stretchy. The rest of the hat is worked in stockinette stitch with subtle crown decreases, so that you can knit to your desired height.
With a quick four-row repeat, the leafy cables are easy to memorize, and they can be knitted without a cable needle. Watching each pretty pair of leaves take shape makes this an entertaining knit.
Instructions are fully written, with one optional chart and links to helpful video tutorials.
You will receive two pdf patterns with your purchase: one for the Baby size (3-6 months), and another for the Youth, Adult Small and Adult Large sizes. The Baby size includes instructions for an optional top knot.
