When winter fades and spring is in the air – that’s the magic time when we usually get motivated to knit something special. This light-weight cardigan is the perfect project to get into the spring knitting spirit. Worked seamlessly from the top down with raglan shaping, in shades of color that fade and blend, this design has all the right elements – beautiful color, interesting symmetrical cables along the fronts and sleeves, some tiny eyelets and a bit of seed stitch.

Size: To fit woman’s size S (M, L, XL, XXL).
Finished Measurements:
Bust 36 (40, 44, 47, 51)”/ 91.5 (101.5, 112, 119.5, 129.5) cm.
Length 23 ½ (25, 25 ½, 26 ½, 27)”/ 59.5 (63.5, 65, 67.5, 68.5) cm.

Yarn:
Dk Weight – approx 920 (1020, 1120, 1235, 1375) yds/ 837 (928, 1019, 1124, 1251) meters. If working with a multi-color fade, depending on how many yards you have of each color, the width of the stripes will vary. A good rule of thumb to use; once you divide the sleeves from the body, reserve 40% of the color for the sleeves, using 60% for the body.

Suggested Yarn and color scheme:
Cape May Fibers DK (231 yds/ 211 m per 100g); 100% Superwash merino wool. Hand dyed Avocado Pit Fade or Indigo Fade in 4 (5, 5, 6, 6) colors, from lightest to darkest.

Instructions are provided for both the Avacado Pit Fade and the Indigo Fade color schemes
