Body is worked flat in one piece from top down. Waistband is worked vertically in rows and joined to body as you work. Sleeves are worked seamlessly in rounds from top down. For hoodie, hood is worked in rows from bottom up and joined together at top, then border is worked vertically in rows along the outer edge.

Frontbands are buttoned right–over–left, the preferred orientation for garments to be fastened by a helper.
