Square Dance Shawlette
When asked to create a piece for a spring retreat I really thought a lot about what kind of knitting I liked to bring to a retreat or social knitting. I really wanted it to be something that was easy to memorize with short repeats, and I wanted it to be simple enough to let a beautiful yarn shine. I think this pattern does both really well.
Square Dance incorporates rest rows with a slipstitch mosaic checker motif in a classic top down triangle shape. Once you get going you can easily read your knitting and pick this up and put it down, making it a great project for social knitting or a busy mind.
If you loved this pattern, please feel free to share on Ravelry and instagram using the hashtag #squaredanceshawlette and #larkspurknits. Thanks for your support as always and happy knitting!
