This is a pattern for an ornately cabled stole./shawl. The stole is approximately 15 1/2 inches by 74 inches and the shawl is approximately 20 inches x 74 inches.
Both sizses are knitted with light worsted weight., specifically, Malabrigo’s Rios yarn in colorway, Cosmos. The stole i\ requires approximately 1000 - 1200 yards and the shawl requires approximately 1450 - 1700 yards.

The focal cable is a very unique one that came to us from Scotland. The border is a traditional Aran textured border stitch.

The stitches are charted ONLY

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a very good working knowledge of cabling .)

There are also instructions for an optional crocheted border, should you want it edged. This is the ONLY crochet in the entire pattern, the optional edging.
