Stitches for the body are picked up along the selvedge of the lower border and worked in the round to the shoulders, with steeks for the armhole openings. Front neck shaping is sewn and cut during finishing. Stitches for sleeves are picked up along cuff selvedges and worked in the round, with facings at the upper edges to cover the raw edges of the steeked armhole openings.
