Welcome to Stars Hollow…founded in 1779 by two star-crossed lovers (as the legend goes) and home to all our favorite characters from Gilmore Girls! This tea towel reflects the town sign that sits next to our favorite gazebo and sparkles in the snow with its lovely latticework. The pattern is provided in both written and charted forms and you can knit it using two-color stranded techniques or knit the entire cloth in a solid color and duplicate stitch the text. The Stars Hollow Tea Towel is a perfect addition to your kitchen to show off your spirit for your favorite fictional place. (Additionally, you can opt to knit the top section to match the bottom, which creates a non-hanging rectangular towel.)

240 yards (218 meters) of worsted weight yarn
1 star button (for hanging towel option)

Sample knit out of Lily Sugar ‘n Cream in 1 ball of White and 1 ball of Light Blue (120 yards/109 meters; 100% cotton)

Note: If you prefer to knit the towel in only the MC and then duplicate stitch on the text, you will need 2 balls of White and 1 ball of Light Blue. If you prefer to knit the top of the towel to create the rectangular shape, you will also need 2 balls of White and 1 of Light Blue.
