Steamed Mittens
These lovely mittens are the perfect coffeeshop knit. The simple knit and purl patterning on the main part of the mitten is easily memorized and gives the mittens great texture. The patterning just above the cuff starts with a couple of rounds of seed stitch. The purl dots then spread out and are worked farther apart as they get closer to the top of the mitten, like steam evaporating into the air.
